Cloud Architect

• Identify opportunities to create modern and flexible cloud architectures to satisfy new and existing business needs and requirements.
• Closely followed AWS Well-Architected Framework while creating presentations and design diagrams to convey ideas and messages clearly.
• Reviewed, coordinated, researched, and prototyped any new products or tools that can be used to benefit the project.
• Member of the FinOps team that is responsible for entitlements and maintaining infrastructure that is secure, scalable, reliable, available, resilient, in addition to recoverable while optimizing cost, time, and resources.
• Established a Technical Review Board to act as the guiding technical voice for all projects. The other aspect of the board is to disseminate knowledge and information with the intended purpose of elevating awareness for new products and services, best practices, and overall technical direction.
• Responsible for delivering to production MLOps pipelines and MLFlow workflows for Machine Learning projects.

Platform Engineering Lead

• Designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines with GitOps and Trunkbased development. Responsible for all phases of DevSecOps from source control (GitHub), build tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), supply-chain security (Snyk, Dependabots), code coverage/linting (SonarQube), containerization (Docker), and deployment (Kubernetes, ECS) with testing, monitoring (Prisma, CloudWatch, New Relic), governance and processes around it.
• Advocated for widespread adoption of infrastructure-as-code. This entails all provisioned infrastructure to be sourced controlled and fungible.

Development Team Lead

• Instrumental in the planning and migration efforts for moving existing monolith applications to microservices.
• Implemented the reference architecture for a RESTful API framework using spring boot for the development teams to follow in addition to providing guidance and mentoring.
• Migrated development workflows from Gitflow to Trunkbased development.

Software Engineer/Developer

• Responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, and supporting Java EE applications.
